Kikiai Collaborative primarily operates as a grassroots network based in Greater Vancouver. Our community, comprised of mostly (but not exclusively) under-40 Japanese Canadian and Nikkei folks, connects through arts & culture, politics, history + more.

We currently work in two ways:

1. The Listserv. We facilitate a Listserv so folks can share events, opportunities and more to our community. Information shared is typically tied directly to the Japanese Canadian community or may be related to the various interests of folks in our group.
2. Events. Occasionally, we organize our own events which are hosted by and for Kikiai members. These include visiting historical sites, sharing food through potlucks or crafting (and much more).
